Cart Options

I posted a question on the earlier Photo Cart thread but thought an expanded thread might be helpful. I am looking for a new option in photo sales/management. SmugMug has been good to me, but I am looking for something that is a bit more flexible and takes less of a commission. I have heard good things about PhotoCart, but I would like to know if there are any other options out there that people appreciate.

I am okay with doing something that is more site/hosting/fulfillment in one, but I do want to allow for self fulfillment and SmugMug doesn't allow that. A lower merchant account type fees on orders would be appreciated greatly.

Does this mean that PhotoCart is really just that much better than all of the other options out there? Or is it that the self hosted / self fulfillment side of things is just that little understood/used?
