locked, private, or public? help.

This may have been addressed before, but I have a new zenfolio unlimited acct and I am uploading and building it the way I want..

I am hung up on the different visabilites available. What is the general idea on what to hide and what to show? I have a few weddings from family and friends that are and prob should stay locked and hidden, only for those with passwords, etc.,
But what should I do about animals, rock bands, aircraft, fine art, landscapes, etc?
Is it safe and ok to have them public and searchable, etc?

Here's a general rule I use:

- for personal projects that I don't want the public to see I set to private, means only me has access

- for portfolio folders I set to public and to featured collection, this are things you want your customers to view or images you want to share via blog or social networking.

- for client folder they are often set to locked with password because you want it to be secure =)

There are new tutorials from zenfolio on this. I'm not sure why this is so confusing. I just need to spend more time with it.

The Zenfolio user forum has a TON of free info, have you looked around in there?
