I upload 3000 pixels on long side which is a pretty good size.
Since I don't allow full size download anyways, I just need a size good enough to let customers order large prints. It definitely speeds up the uploading time.

I upload full sized images, why not, unlimited space under the plan I have, and my connection speed is plenty fast to keep up

I use Zenfolio as my secondary order-fulfillment as well as my offsite backup since they're offering unlimited storage so I upload full-size files.

It does take awhile to upload but I use an LR plug-in, so i'm not too worried because it's part of my workflow.
