As a sole proprioter, am I supposed to pay unemployment tax?
Thanks.

Also, can anyone recommend a CPA that could help me with taxes. This is all too confusing for me and really need some help.

Yep, you have to pay 15% on the profit your business makes... if you look at a 1040 form, that tax is applied on the next line AFTER your to total of your other income/deductions. I have a CPA, although Dallas based.

The Texas Workforce Commission maintains a web site that may answer some of your questions (although some of the ways they choose to present information can be unnecessarily confusing). Your post doesn't say anything about the factors that may make you subject to unemployment taxation, but this link may be a good starting point for you: TWC Tax Dept - What is a Subject Employer?

That's Self Employment tax, not un-employment tax.
