Now hiring DFW area event photographers - 11-04-2010, 11:13 AM

I'm new here, so I don't know if this is the place for this post --

I have several big events this fall and early 2011 and I need 3 additional photographers to cover the events. Specifically: 3 photographers to shoot individual and couple portraits at two events, also need 3 photographers to shoot candids at several other event. All photographers must have their own equipment and experience shooting events. Interested photographers should contact me with their rates

you can check out my company at:
Dallas Fort Worth Event Photography - Events and Weddings

Thanks,

The pay rate varies by the event and the photography requirements. None of the assignments is gonna make any of us rich ... but there's enough money to put a few more presents under the tree ... or offer a new event shooter a little more experience shooting large events. Contact me via email and i'll send you specifics.

What does the individual and couple portraits mean? Would these be on a set up backdrop or just walking around?

I am not an event photographer and would need a lot of training to become one probably, but I am a portrait photographer.

Individual and couple portraits are stationairy photos taken against a backdrop. Typically they are a two-light setup.

Candids are where you walk around and shoot individuals or groups of people having fun, enjoying the event or doing something interesting.

In my opinion, the two hardest things about taking good event candids are -- capturing the energy of an event and getting people to do something fun and interesting for the shot ... and ... shooting in a lot of different lighting conditions and being able to adjust your exposure settings quickly as the lighting conditions change.

Still interest? Let me know.

okay, now it is a maybe, only on the couple/individual portraits for right now. What are the dates, I think that will be the biggest factor.
