1st Newborn shoot, Need help.

Hey everyone,

I'm not sure where to post this at but I have been asked to do a couple of newborn shoots. I now have 3 portrait shoots under my belt and am hungry for more.

What I am looking for is a person that will be my newborn photography mentor for an hour or two and help me with my first shoot. I would like to do it outdoors like I have seen many photogs do but I am thinking this time of year is much too cold for the baby???? Not sure, you tell me!

Also, if you have a studio set up that you would help me in, that would be great too. Any help that anyone can provide would be awesome and greatly appreciated. This is a shoot I am doing for FREE and making no money off of. Just something to continue to build my portfolio.

I have no lighting equipment or backdrops. I have only been doing outdoor,natural light photography and I have a Canon Rebel with two lenses and a few props available to use, if any of that matters to anyone.

I live in League City and am willing to travel anywhere in our area of town all the way to Galveston. Thank you TPF members.
