I offer a 30X40 but only display 20X30. Hold an 8X10 next to a 20X30 and see how it looks. The numbers can be deceiving. You would think a 16X20 was 4 times larger than a 8X10 would you?

20X30=600 sq. inches
16X20=320 sq inches
8X10= 80 sq inches

We are about to put a 45" by 45" canvas up in our music room. Possibly a 40x60, too.

We've been married 18 months, owned this house 15 months and still haven't put a single print up!

The shoemaker's family has no shoes....

The photographer's family has not photos!

My husband just asked me yesterday, as I opened an album order up, when was I going to design our own wedding album!

I'm looking forward to getting our new house this summer. Lots of GREAT BIG walls ready for canvases!

So true! I have the DVD of images from our wedding that I keep meaning to go through but it's been 2 years so it'll probably never happen, well, not anytime soon. I do have an album with 4x6's that she put together for me but it's still boxed up somewhere from the move :(

Susan, WHCC is starting their winter sales and will be offering sales on alot of their products over the coming weeks. This is a great time to stock up on studio samples or try something new. I think for canvases and gallery wraps the the offer was 25% off, when they had these same sales over the summer. Pro Photo Lab: Photo Prints, Press Printed, Press Books | WHCC

If you know perfectly that what size of print people want more and more then you can offer that only print sizes.But if you dont know then you have to offer all sizes.

I order through WHCC, receive their emails and am FB fan so I definitely got wind of the sales and had meant to order some "samples" of the canvases, albums and prints but of course got side tracked with other things, forgot and now I missed the print and canvas sale, UGH!

I decided to just do a general posting/advertising and make a note that additional sizing is available upon request and will provide the pricing at that time. Thanks!

Exactly! I've been in my house for 6 years and not a single thing is hanging on my walls. FAIL.

When I ordered my son's hands and feet pictures in B/W, I went with the square 8x8 I believe. Well my mom and I thought we would find a frame very easily since it was becoming a popular style. It wasn't, but regardless, we had a custom frame shop mount them in 11x14 frames, double matted and centered and it turned out very nice when you can't find a square frame. Just an option!

Aww those are cute! Thanks for the suggestion, I'm still *trying* to get all these photos that I've been taking of the babies printed and framed but since we're renting I'm hesitant to hang a lot.
