Just wondering how much work is it to apply for your tax id#. Im now looking for a website domain and I wil be needing a photo lab to get prints. So on with my search. Anyone have any suggestions that they found out along the way let me know.

Congrats on taking the leap! Applying for your sales and use tax is simple, just go to the Texas Comptroller website and sign up.

I would recommend you join PPA as an Aspiring member so that you can have access to the benefits and all the resources that they have available. I'm just coming down off my high from the Imaging USA convention this week in San Antonio...my brain almost exploded with all the information I was able to get from the speakers! :)

Some major labs are WHCC, Millers and MPixPro. I currently use WHCC and they have wonderful customer service, high quality products and are super fast!

Congrats!!! You need your tax ID for sure....collect sales tax and pay it quarterly!!

I might also add getting some insurance to Britney's suggestion of PPA. I have a $1 mil liability policy and insurance for all of my gear for just at $500 a year.

doesn't load for me either. i thought maybe it was just a dns propagation issue since it was just registered today, but the domain does resolve, just no ping....

I wrote the website hosting people and they say that they had a problem yesterday, funny thing is I was able to see it all day. Weird, even tried cleaning my cookies and looking and it still came up for me.

Try today. Sorry for the trouble, really ticks me off kinda since Im just starting. If I keep having problems. Ill move to a different host.
