Question 1 company... 2 brands or one company that includes everything? - 01-24-2011, 12:51 PM

ok So this thought has been running thru my head all day and I would like the opinions of my fellow colleges.

I have one Company and 2 brands right now....

arcusav.com MEDIA as UNIQUE as YOU! and .

What i am debating is if they should be really separate or should I include everything on one site..

I do not do a whole lot of Family or Kids. But really at a crossroad right now.

What do you think i should do and how have you approached this in your own company?

You need to separate into more brands. Photography + sound mixing doesn't mix. Keep it all separate.

But again, you really need to spend more time on the photography before you have a million businesses going. If you charge then provide substandard work, you are going to be burning a lot of bridges.

Well if the mixture is working, why are you asking?

After looking at your link, I don't see Momma bringing her little kiddies to you. Separate them.

i have two 'labels' for that exact reason. i won't want a picture of a half naked girl next to a shot of my nephew.

if the sound and photography thing is working, then use only pictures that relate to the sound (event style shots) and keep everything else on another label. i'd separate out the kids and families to another label as well.
