Sizing images for real estate MLS listing

I have searched through TPF threads and don't see any comments that address my question.

Question --- is there an optimal size to resize photos for posting to Houston MLS ?

I did read in some of the posts that sometimes the MLS wants to resize and then distorts some photos ......... so I suppose know what size the MLS system wants is what I need to size them?

so I may have found my own answer. I wanted to 'keep looking' and ran across this article

Susan,

This is direct from HAR-Tempo (I'm a Realtor, in addition to a few other things).

You can upload up to 32 images.
You can upload JPG|JPEG|GIF|PNG images.
The maximum file size for an image is 6 MB.
Images whose dimensions exceed 1024x768 will be resized.
