I'm stuck on which category I should choose.
There's 6 options and then categories in each. Having a hard time figuring out where I fit in. I focus mainly on local architecture and product photography but then I also dabble in stock/travel/fine art so i don't want to limit myself to being a "local business".
Thoughts?

I'll probably have more questions... for some reason i hate facebook and find it the most confusing website ever. But for now i need to at least get a page created!

Ok, artist was what i was leaning towards... seemed to make the most sense for me so i went with that. So then I sent out fan invites, one of which went to my wife. She was able to "like" it, but we couldn't find anywhere to "become a fan". And the setup area says you need 25 fans to get a username. So isn't there supposed to be a "fan" button or something somewhere?

You need 25 likes before you can make it facebook.com/d2creative or whatever. Each like is the same as a fan, they've just changed the terminology.

I had been artist, but had heard that FB limits how you can market yourself, so I switched to Local Business.

How do you set this up so it's facebook.com/XXXXXXXX I have over 60 likes and am interested in doing this. Also what does FB give you options to for changing to Local Business over just People - Artist?

Its under account settings. You might have to be logged in as your page though. I remember when I did mine, I didn't realize you could, but they had a big notice at the tip saying do it do it do it
