If I'm not mistaken, you said you showed the client unedited images. I would never do that? If they don't have the imagination to 'see' an edited photo in the camera screen, those images are unlikely to be very appealing, especially if they are RAW images.

So at this point, i believe the reason for her wanting to reshoot was that she isn't happy about her hair due which accentuated her plus size figure. i offered her a free 45 min reshoot as one forum member suggested, but at the same location. The client seems happy at the offer. So we'll go from there... thanks again for all your input.
good for you! i hope your next shoot with her goes better. as a heavier woman, i can tell you that there are many reasons i might not like pics of myself... but anyone willing to work with me and re-shoot to make me feel better (especially in a wedding related situation) will get glowing reviews from me for life.

there have been times when i've looked in the mirror and thought i looked fine, but then later saw a photo and wondered "what the hell was i thinking?"

maybe she was having one of those days.

Buddha: i've shown clients pics from the back of my camera, but only if i took a look first and knew they were okay to show.

3 month old thread.

Did the client end up happy with the reshoot?

Hehe, I couldn't find a good one, so I settled for a very early one of my own. LOL
