Opinions on new business cards/logo - 04-29-2011, 10:42 AM

I decided to simplify my logo and really try to emphasize a clean, classy look. Please tell me what y'all think and which design you prefer for the back

EDIT: I really don't like having the logo in their twice, I'm just too lazy to delete the first example and save a new PNG lol
EDIT: I also don't know why I have "PS" for the phone number, its supposed to be "PH"

REVISION! Thoughts? Should I get rid of the color stripes on the front?

FINAL(?) REVISION

Not a fan of having the back horizontal then the front vertical.

I agree about switching directions and I don't really like all the extra black space on the front above and below the logo with it being so tight left to right.

I don't think its mandatory, but an image you shot or an image of you would probably help too. I get lots of oooohs! when people see my image on the back of my card. It seems to go a long ways when everyone out there is a photographer ;)

Never been a fan of two-sided cards.

Out of sight... Out of mind.

Keep it simple.

Not sure what you're aiming for but I think you're not maximizing it's use.

I say publish all your info on both sides but each side catering to different color hues.

On the front side you can have the dark layout you have now, and then the back side the lighter layout that's a little easier to read for other people. That way your biz card can be read on any lighting situation be it outside at the park or inside a dungeon.

Also, your item headings should be of smaller font and the actual info be bigger, you want people to easily read the e-mail address and the phone numbers, in fact they should be bigger than your logo, if not the same.

Just my two cents =)

John's design is the way to go albeit it needs bigger fonts, but by doing away with the phone, email and website headings he has maximized your space.

I mean everyone knows what a phone, email and a website looks like so no need to tell them the obvious.

Thanks for all the comments and thoughts guys. John, I feel stupid for not doing that in the first place, Marius I like that idea as well.

Would y'all be willing to share what your own cards look like?
