Yesterday I went to the Apple store, BEYOND frustrated that I can't get my iphone to sync. But, even though I wanted to just throw away my computer and phone, I knew that the store employees were not at fault.

One guy tried to help me. Even gave me a new phone. Same problem. So, that meant it was something to do with my computer. He wasn't familiar with PCs, but referred me to another guy there that was.

That guy came over and said he was finishing up with someone else, and would be right back. He came back about 2 min later and introduced himself. I told him my name of course and he said, "Lyncca? Do you know someone named Stevi?" I mentally think of people, then think of an interview coming up, then I said, "Are you Stevi's fiance?" and he said "yes!"

I'm meeting with them today in about 20 min to discuss their wedding photography! Imagine if I had been rude! If I had a more common name, we wouldn't have realized it, but then it would have been REALLY BAD showing up to the interview today.

Lesson: ALWAYS be nice to people. You never know where those same people will pop up again! LOL

Booked the wedding :)
I had a nice opener when we met too. I said, "man am I glad I was nice to you yesterday!!" They started laughing and it was all down hill from there!

So true! I try to be nice to people in general because I believe in Karma, The Golden Rule, What goes around comes around, etc.. Of course, there are times when my limit gets met and then I pop like a baloon full of anger and frustration. This happens very rarely and when it does, you don't want to be on the receiving end, LOL.

Congrats on booking the wedding! I have an appointment at the Apple store Sunday. Now watch the same guy end up helping me!

Its a little wedding on a Wednesday! Can't beat that! An easy 4 hour gig and I will be home before my husband gets off work!

Love that I can get a little more money and not have to book at Sat for it.
