Perfection....(?) - 07-07-2007, 04:28 PM

As I've started my dive into photography as a life-supporting business, I've noticed that perfection in every photograph becomes harder and harder to get. As an amateur I was able to sit around a literally shoot and re-shoot my photos till i got all the elements and those in crisp focus that i wanted. Now that i've started selling my creativity behind a lens i've noticed that when working with people on-location, in the studio, outside, inside, on water, on land, etc. that i cannot always get that perfect shot in "perfect" composition, because that special moment is there for well.... a moment. I now have to settle for less, but not sub-standard in some situations. I've also realized that my clients ARE NOT photographers and therefore don't catch the little mistakes or imperfections. How do you guys handle these moments, besides avoiding them as best as possible or a week in PP? or what do you do minimize the exposure of imperfection. Discuss.

I honestly believe every sane photog should be a strobist.
