after this weekend, i realized i probably should come up with some sort of business name -and i got this dot.com this morning, but thinking...it sounds ....i dont know...i'm just not sure i'm happy with it...

I think it sounds fine for a photographic site. Once they are there they will "get it" and if they go there for the wrong reason, maybe you'll get some interesting assignments.

what's the story behind the name? Often that helps others to understand why you chose it. I do like it for a photo related site, but what type of image are you thinking about to go along with it?

well, i did get the dot.com this morning..

so the card is like this...



there really isn't a story behind the name, just trying to come up with something related to photography and memories, moments, something...anything...

most of what i come up with sounds corny to me...

the eye on the card..well, i can't come up with anything else there either, i've been using that eye as a forum avatar for a while, so i overlayed a camera iso dial on it - it's kinda hard to see, but anyway - i get it - LOL

I love the shutter speeds in the eye. Course, only camera folks will get it. Others will think it's some kind of weird clock! lol

It was good to meet you as well and yes, my Sister's name is Misty....
As a photographer, I love the card, the design is great. But as a customer, I'd be wondering what it meant. Maybe you have in your gallery a short that would be described as a "once in a lifetime" image. Something that as soon as people see it, it would cause the name to stick out. Maybe some of your daughter's gymnastics photos, or something similar.....

I thought about the same thing when I registered my site Exposed-Media. Having to do with camera exposure of course and digital media in this day and age. I have yet to put any type of definition or anything to explain to the non-photog, but oh well. If you like the name stick with it.
