After years of talking about it, I'm starting a magazine.
Work's begun on "herenow", a quarterly magazine of images and prose, with contributions full of a sense of place. It's not a travelogue, really, but a collection of reminiscences (both real and imagined) about those spots where we spend our days, those we fondly remember, and even some that left us with scars.
Each issue will be 44-60 pages in length, full of evocative writing about places and the people who make them special, and illustrated with beautiful photographs.
I'm seeking initial funding through
Kickstarter, a new crowd-sourced funding firm. If you want to finance a startup or creative project, check them out.
Check out the details at the
project page, and help out if it interests you.
I'll be posting submission guidelines soon if you'd like to contribute on the creative side.
