Nevermind

My wife has used Portrait Innovations several times, and I have NEVER seen a bill for less than $120. Do what they do. Hire college students. Teach them basic poses with preset lights and backdrops, and YOU do the print/upsell meeting after the shoot. For commodity pricing, use commodity processes. Heck, hire another college student on straight commission and let them close the upsell. We have someone calling from PI about three months from the last shoot, and they keep calling. It's not art photography, but they do enough business to have three or four shooters and four closers working non-stop all weekend every weekend. They're doing $3-5k a DAY, and you can certainly mke money on that volume. Maybe they'll remember you when they get married, or the kid graduates. Let them browse your expensive albums while they wait. Follow up. Keep them on your mailing list They won't forget that you can do more than commodity photos.
Many years ago, I ran a group of Taco Bell restaurants. 59 cent tacos. My best store did $32,000 a week, one taco at a time...

You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer. ~Frank Zappa
