I'm so excited that you are a memeber of Pixtus! Now I can tell you that I love your creativity and that you are not afraid to do something different and actually put it out there for the world to see.

When I started reading this...I thought...I bet they are talking about Brittany. I absolutely LOVE your work...

"You seem to be real into child photography. 0.o"

Joe, I'm a newbe, and I happened to run across two different articles I thought would stimulate conversation. I don't know squat about child or senior photography, so I posted the articles. Heck, when I hear senior, I think senior citizens, not high school kids. As far as being "into" it. I have adopted three kids under 5 from the foster care system, and have fostered several more over the past few years. My first exposure to foster kids was through a gallery exhibit of dozens of children awaiting adoption. I have become a tireless advocate for helping kids find loving permanent homes. I expect to be shooting portraits this Christmas for the children represented by the agency that manages our cases, and I better be able to create decent shots by then or I will embarrass myself and let down some kids. There are more than 5,000 children in foster care in the Houston metropolitan area alone, many of them for years, some even reaching 18 and being booted to the curb with no families. No family at Christmas is bad enough, but imagine starting your adult life with zero support system if anything goes wrong. So yes, I'm proudly "into" kids, though in a much more compassionate way than you imply.
