i had someone contact me about getting a modeling portfolio/headshots done for her daughter but that's really where my interest level is. so throwing this out there to see if someone is interested and could email me their website so i can pass the word on to this client.

Your grammar is bad and your statement is confusing. You make it seem like you are interested in doing this yourself but then ask for peoples websites.

Looks to me like he just forgot to type the word "not" in the sentence "but that's [not] really where my interest level is".

No need to be rude, especially if you aren't going to use an apostrophe in the word "peoples"...
