PPA to Buy Equipment Insurance for Most Members

You have to be a full member. The "Aspiring Photographer" level doesn't qualify for the insurance.

I inquired about equipment rental and this is their response and a correction to their first response:

The Photocare and Photocare PLUS policies both include a limit of $1,000 for leased or rented equipment from others. We can provide a Loss Payee certificate for anyone up to that amount. If you need more than $1,000 in coverage, you can purchase it on the Photocare PLUS policy up to the Maximum limit of $100,000 and we can provide the necessary certificate for the additional amount.

I need to make a correction to my first reply. I just found out late yesterday afternoon that we are not planning to issue any certificates on the Photocare policy. If you need us to issue a certificate for the equipment you lease or rent, we will need you to schedule it on a Photocare PLUS policy.

this is awesome!! I have insurance with them and have had to use it once. Costs me about $350/year...nice savings.

Actually...no. There are already a ton of PPA members on here.
