Is there anyway to reject junk mail at business addresses? My mailbox keeps getting filled up with catalogs that I don't order from and never have. Is there a way to get off a mailing list or block stuff like that? Figured not, but thought it was worth asking. | | | | | Sponsored Links | Premium Members do not see Google advertisements. *Edit. Yeah, I'm an idiot, I read that as email. I think I need sleep
Anyways, I think you can call the companies that send you catalogs and remove yourself from the mailing lists. As for junk mail, I think you're stuck with it.

If they ever send you envelopes that are pre-paid (like credit card offers do), you can stuff them full of other junk mail and send it back. They pay for postage, but only if those envelopes make it back into the mail system. Take their $0.42 or whatever it is now.

I used to do that all the time, take everything that came in the envelope and mail it back to them. I'm too lazy now, so I just throw it in the trash...
Your simplest solution might be to get a PO Box. I've had a few, and they never had junk in them.

I remember a couple of elections ago, one of the candidates had and affair (imagine that, someone wanting to lead us, who is human and makes mistakes). The girl (victim) had the last name of Rice. The candidate sent out fund raising letters with postage paid envelopes, many (read 10 of thousands) bought a 10 pound bag of Rice and taped the envelope to the bag. He got the message real quick and withdrew from the election. Who knows, I might have voted for him.
Well ever since then, that's my new stick. i buy bulk rice and mail it back. They probably never know it's me, but i get a kick knowing they had to pay and dispose of the rice. | | | |

We send those Visa and Mastercard applications (without out name on them of course) back to Discover and American Express and Vice Versa.

The USPS needs the funds. I've wondered how to charge the door hangers with "disposal services"
