emails ending up in SPAM??? - 01-03-2012, 05:02 PM

I am a wedding photographer based in Miami. I just noticed over the holidays that most of the client inquiries I have received ended in my SPAM FOLDER. These are actual inquiries coming from brides and grooms... I am using a gmail based business email account.
I have never ever sent spam email in my life...
Has this ever happened to you? What can I do that this won't happen in the future?

Your email account spam setting may be the cause of your problem. At any rate, I would make sure that your spam folder never deletes emails. Only you should do that so you don't lose any emails. Without knowing more, that's all I can guess at.

Thanks! What I am worried is that my emails may end up in the SPAM folder of my present and future clients...

I have a habit of checking my spam folder every other day in Gmail. Are the inquiries coming from a contact form on your site or peoples personal email?

Click and drag the emails in your Spam folder to your Inbox and treat them as normal. Moving them to the Inbox may teach your email that such emails are not spam.
How your clients email applications handle emails is a function of their own email set up. However, you can set your email to require a receipt when it/they are read. That should let you know if they have been read or lost.
