Comptroller won't take VISA

I'm probably the only one who didn't know it, but the comptroller won't take Visa for sales tax payment. I always fill out the paper form and mail a check. Today, I decided to check out the online filing. Simple enough. Well, that is until you get to the 'choose your card' dropdown...MC, AX, or Discover. I called the local office and she verified, "That's right, we do not accept Visa."

I would say that's odd, but I am talking about gov.org. Nothing should be a surprise with them.

Otoh, it is so much easier, can't imagine doing the paperwork again.

When I went to the city office to get my wedding license....then my DBA...they didn't take Visa...I thought that was weird....but jeez.

Can't you do a draft from your checking account online? Pretty sure that's how I do mine since my business debit is a visa!

yep it's ODD, I always forget when I'm going to pay my taxes!!!!
Then either I pay with my AMEX or Business Checking....

Yeah, that's what I did, electronic transfer. Same thing, essentially, since both come out of the account instantly.
