Online Calendar

Does anyone here utilize an on-line calendar to help them keep track of booked dates? I was just writing down the number of sessions I have for the next 4 months and I need to have a better system of keeping track of this!


also, does anyone here display their booked/available dates on their websites for clients & potential clients to see....a way to "nudge them along" to hurry up and book services Or is that just a bad idea all around?

I use my Palm software that comes with my Treo Phone. It works great. I've also used a Mail client's calendar like outlook but MS Outlook is the devil. So Palm it is!

I use both my .mac account and iCal on the Mac. But since my wife needs to know what I'm doing too (imagine that!), I also use Yahoo Calendar and share it with her and any clients that need to know. It works pretty well and there is an Outlook conduit if you are a PC/MS Office user. YMMV.

Does it have to be online? I use Outlook, which works well for me. If online is a must, Yahoo! offers one, but I have no idea how good it is. That's probably zero help.

I use my Mac and iCal also. I have an "Open Dates" calendar that I send out to prospective clients/models. When I book something I simply remove the OPEN from that date, etc. They can always visit the calendar as it updates automatically. Scott, as for my wife, I just set up a subscription for her so she gets updates to my personal calendar, etc... We also just send appoinments back and forth. She's an Outlook user and I have had no real issues between that and iCal. Not exactly the same, but it gets the info across.... I like it because I can access it anywhere, even if I don't have my own laptop, I synch across my desktop, laptop, Palm, iPod, and online. One click... I love it!

I use a Franklin Covey Planner - the company I work for bought one for me, had me take a mini-class , and encourages it's use for Biz and personal stuff.

Pretty handy, although my wife does call it a man-purse sometimes.
