Hmmmm, not much more than minimum wage. For a college student, it might be worth it though.

WEnt to their website and looked at last years albums and across the site.

This looks to be a company that markets an all inclusive Spring Break Package to High School Seniors on up to the College Crowd and they have a staff photographer who covers all the events. Not really a girls gone wild more of just a lot of group party shots and now this "paparazzi" aspect of catching everybody coming to the party for the night.

If you want to do some beach sunrise shooting, can sleep in shifts, can sleep through the day when you know there is going to be partying going on, have a need for cash and just want to get away it could be fun. Hell you can pop down to Mexico while down there.
I wonder if they supply a desktop since they want the photos on CD at the end of each week?
None of the photos posted have any real value other than party snapshots and with the hours that they require you to be there it works out to about $15 an hour pluss room board and 2 meals a day, being down in South Padre and if you get away from them during the day they don't have any rights over those photos-just what is shot for their travel bureau. It looks like they have contracts with about 6 or so Condo's groups down there-charge anywhere from a couple hundred up to around five hundred a week per person for the condo-No mention if your room is your room or if it is shared with a bunch of other people-partiers are up to 10 people per condo unit.

Now this doesn't mean that if you hang around until 2 am that there isn't some girls gone wild stuff going on but they look to be marketing a "safe" spring break alternative-they book the whole condo -have their own bar/dance club-feed you twice a day while dangling that Mexico is just minutes away carrot. (they also have Mexico Trips to sell to the people) Look to be aiming for the "Greek" Market so may be some cute girls to take pics of.

Looks like they have other "locations" around the US and Mexico that they offer these tours to. Guess the work is so seasonal that they cannot afford a staff photographer.

Also looks like if you wanted to jump on a second $$ earning potential and are into sales you could do the sell programs to the partiers already down there-Site says that people can earn commissions up to $300 a day-but would guess that it would fall more into the $100 a day range in reality.

But if you have your own vehicle, can sleep in shifts-your mornings would pretty much be your own as would the sunset hours-not sure what sort of Sunset shots can really be done in South Padre-guess you go to the west side of the island?

AS to the comment about the large flash it looks like last years guy flash wasn't lighting up the larger groups.

lol.. same here.. main reason i wouldnt mind going is the weather.. and its spring break of course because last year we went to south padre for spring break and the weather was ****ty.
