Business Cards - 02-18-2006, 01:53 PM

This question has probably been asked several times, but...

Where do you get your business cards? I know there are many places to get them, but I want the best "bang for the buck."

I usually get mine from Vista Print.

They have very nice designs and good prices.

VistaPrint.com did a great job with my cards. I paid for expedited processing, and they delivered on time. Great color. There is an extra fee for doing your own design upload, but it seems worth it. If you use them, order early. Their lowest cost handling and shipping is slow.

Designed my own. I think it's important to have some samples (albeit small ones) of you work. There was no VistaPrint logo on my cards.

For right now, I am designing and printing my cards but do like the sites metioned above. I use this pic I took in El Paso of Mount Christo Rey and put my info on it...I use white lettering and it really stands out on this card. I like eye catching readable fonts aslo. I think your business cards should be an eye catcher and one your customer would remember.

I showed one of mine to a man in my church and he remembered he had seen it before. Strong possibility now of doing some shots for him and his family.

eye catcher yes, but limiting no. in printing and using this card you are cutting your customer base down by more than half...its pretty obvious why.

btw i still stick by overnightprints.com

Have I not given you one of my cards from MiniComps.net?

Are they as good as they look online? No.

They're better. Cost me $140 (including shipping) for 1000 and I had them in about a week. Very heavy stock and the colors are fabulous. Remind me next time we hook up and I'll show you one.... they are aimed at actors and models, but what's good for the goose.....
