Hello!
Has anyone used their services? How are their prints? I currently use mpix. Very happy with quality. But, I need a place people can order for themselves. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Tammie

Hi Tammie -

Yes, I use fototime. I haven't had any prints made, I am in the process of evaluating their on-line commission for print sales. I current have around 5,000 pictures uploaded on the website. I take a lot of photo's for my local high school and community. I am able to create public and private albums, and sub-groups where I can then create hyperlinks to those specific albums, groups, or individual pictures. I can also make the photo's public or private as well. The customer service folks respond very quickly when you have questions or suggestions. They just increased (doubled) recently the amount of storage space/bandwidth that is available or subscribers.

I haven't finalized my decision whether to go the commission route yet, still trying to get caught up on some other projects.

Hope this helps.
Randy

Actually, 6051 (I just checked) .... basically, this is over three years of photo's taken and uploaded. I've always performed an image size reduction to 1000 pixels for the largest dimension, that reduces each picture size to approximately 350k, which makes it easier for my customers to look at the pictures over a modem .... I haven't been terribly concerned about the quality of the sports pictures, but for portraits for on-line proofing, I bump up the file sizes, and make the albums "private" ... There might be some better services around, but for my purposes fototime has worked out well.
