Question What size is a business card? - 03-28-2006, 08:32 PM

This is for real....Please don't laugh...no business card on hand . So, the fact that I don't have anything to measure it with doesn't matter. As always any help would be appreciated.

Can I give an alias?

I think they're supposed to be 3.5x2. Just measured mine (from VistaPrint) and it was 3 3/8 by almost 2.

It's OK, the other day I could not remember how big a wallet was and had to go to some online printing site to see!

Sonny, Do you know if this template is the same aspect ratio as the MPIX one? I was thinking of making my own card and importing it to mpix

The template from Overnight Prints works great in Photoshop. It gives you all the allowances and areas to allow for trimming.

I downloaded a PS template from these guys:
http://www.greatfxbusinesscards.com/photoshop.htm

It has the guides preset and a design flow outlined on the web page.
