Does anyone have a favorite slide show software that is easy to use that they like. I want to include a slide show dvd in my wedding packages. Thanks, Colette

I like PhotoStory 3...it's a free download, and I purchased/downloaded a $20 sonic plugin that makes it create DVDs instead of just wmv files. It's perfect for wedding slideshows and completely customizeable.

I just tried today to download the PhotoStory 3 and I couldn't get it to work. It downloaded everything but not an execution file. I will try again. I followed their instructions but just didn't work.

Here's another vote for Photodex's ProShow. They offer three different versions:
ProShow
ProShow Gold
ProShow Producer
All three are available in free trials ("demo" watermarked).
We've used Gold for several different projects and are very pleased with the results.
Plus, they are an Austin company

Best wishes,
Steve

Proshow gold is the easiest thing I've used for making slide shows. You can do a lot of things with it too but it's almost as easy to use out of the box as it is to install. Plus it does a great job IMO.

Another ProShow Gold user here. Great stuff! Can't really add anything new to what hasn't been said.

Quick question..What is the difference between ProShow Gold and roShow Producer?

Check here... http://www.photodex.com/products/pro...yfeatures.html

The thing I like is that Producer will allow you to put mulitple photos on one slide in layers. You can control the motion and effects on each photo separately. For example, you can put 4 photos on a slide and start them all jumbled up together in the middle. Then you can move them to the corners one at a time. Then you can fade them out one at a time. This is just a simple example. I've seen some pretty amazing effects. Look at some of the slideshows on the Photodex site.

What I don't like about Producer is that you need a dongle to make it work. At least you did when it first came out. I don't want to keep track of a dongle. I lose things on a regular basis.

There's another one I've read about called Pictures on TV that gets a lot of good publicity also.
