I am wondering is anyone has done business with these corner stone guys. I know they are with the devil Gerry but I do like the proof books. However i will no longer use them. It's been damn near a month since i sent the proofs in. My clients calls to see what's going on of course all i can do is stall.

this is not the first time but i can say this it's going to be the last. i am going back to 10x10 proof mags.

Well, first of all I don't know why you are calling Gary the devil. I mean really, if you can't get his name right how much do you have to go on and is that really necessary or in keeping with the "name calling" rules of the forum, after all Gary is a member?

I have used Cornerstone twice now and have been pleased with every aspect of the transactions. They have quickly answered my emails and returned my phone calls with no problems. I received both albums within 14 days from ordering them which is much faster than some other custom makers.

I like their books. The pages are super thick and my clients that have them prefer them to the other thinner paged books. Yes, there is a premium for those pages, but the clients want them so they get them. I also like the way that the pages open. They seem to lay much flatter than some others which makes the gutter issues almost negligible. Much better than the Asuka's I have used. (I did the same book in Asuka as Cornerstone as a test).

If there is one area that I do wish Cornerstone would improve is the packaging. I really like the way Asuka ships their product. Nice box and the cover sleeve is very cool. I would have no problem shipping the book directly to a customer. I won't because I want to be the final checker, but if pressed, there would be no problem with the presentation of it's arrival.

damn sorry about the Type O

One I am glad you got yours in 14 days. That was not my case. I tried twice with serval months between and i got the same thing....

I was getting a little upset so I fired an email off to G-man...explained what was going on after 3 weeks of waiting.

I get an email for garry that he's sorry and had no idea about the change in turnaround times.

Garry took care of business and gave me a refund just like I had to give my client a print credit to help smooth things over.
