Question How many portfolio books do you show? - 09-12-2006, 10:49 AM

I am a wedding photographer and I am upgrading all of my portfolios and I am trying to decide how many of what size I think I might need.

So my question is how many portfolio albums do you take with you to show a client (especailly those that meet at starbucks and dont want to carry in a 100 boxes of books)

Thank you,

27 inch pullman - maybe upgrading to a 30 inch!

Currently, about 25 matted 16x20 prints, a zook box, a 10x10 leather craftmen, a 10x10 asuka, a 9.5x13 graphi studio, and a couple of "minis". I want them to see prints as well as albums.

Upgrades coming soon...

1 8x10 leatherbound album with flush mounts
1 8x10 slip-in album
1 5x7 slip-in album
1 8x8 renaissance soho book
3 4x5 books
1 album of bridals
1 album of engagement shots
1 full-wedding proof box
1 album of boudoir shots

all fits in two beautiful square leather bags i found at wilson leather in the mall.

they can pick and choose what to look through, see the difference between luster and metallic, and see a great variety of my work... and a good representation of different album types.
