Vector graphics or geometric modeling is the use of geometrical primitives such as points, lines, curves, and polygons to represent images in computer graphics. It is used by contrast to the term raster graphics, which is the representation of images as a collection of pixels (dots). Basically any art done in Freehand or Illustrator is vector. Doesn't matter how old the software is. Photoshop on the other hand is an example of raster or pixel software. This as you know can not be resized bigger without detrimental effects. So yes you do have a version that will work.
I'd help you design something, but i just don't have the time for any more freelance.
