QUICK! Opinions for Monday!

I wanted to know if anyone else has attended any pro photographer lecture series. There is one in my area (180 miles away) on Monday.

It is supposed to focus on sales and album creation. I so need help with add-on sales! And the album help couldn't hurt.

I was wondering if it is worth the $50 and the time?

Are these usually a waste? Are they aimed at newbies? I don't want to rent a car, pay for the thing, and take 2 days out (requires an overnight stay) if it won't help.

I have 3 weddings in the works this month. My wedding add-on sales tend to be low - a few hundred bucks.

I'm guessing I am doing something wrong and I was hoping some sales ideas would help. Am I better off reading another book? (I already did that - I guess I just semi-stink at add-on sales) I have one wedding that didn't preorder anything, which has me freaked. So all of the profit on that one is in the add-on sales at the end. I thought getting educated was better than crossing my fingers.

I can talk in generalizations, if we can't mention specifics on this board. I'm NOT promoting anything.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has attended anything and if it was worth it?
