cnoise: Have you used photoworks for clients in the past? And, do you have some type of brochure (in print) that you let your client choose from?

yes, I give them examples of what I have printed(too many to count). The quality has been fine as far as I'm concerned.

Are you saying that you print them directly from the site as examples? Or, are you showing your client previous customer's orders that were printed? If they are previous orders that were printed, do you have any suggestions for me, since I have never used them? I don't want to just take my customer to their website, because I would probably be charging a little higher than the photoworks price.

Well, I've used Snapfish in the past because they have sooo many choices. But that's just for myself, family and close friends. The quality probably isn't quite as good as Mpix, but they still looked pretty good. Pretty cheap too. http://www.snapfish.com

I found the company that licenses their templates to Snapfish -- Photo Tidings: www.phototidings.com. You can purchase the template, drop in the photo yourself with Photoshop (or a plethora of other software choices), and print. They have templates for other occasions in addition to the Holiday card templates. Hope this helps! And cuts out the middle man, i.e., Snapfish or PhotoWorks, unless you really want to use them...

WHCC.com does printed folded cards as well as photo cards. They print your own design though. They don't offere templetes. Their prices are excellent and the quality is awesome. This year I'm only offering printed folded cards and putting my logo and URL on the back.
