Is Online Proofing the norm

Hey Everyone,

I really enjoy this forum. By far it has been one of the best I have ever visited. I'm curious if online proofing is what most use here. I tried Pictage when it first started, but found I didn't use it that much. I've been giving proof -cds and on request printed 4x6 proofs. Any thoughts on this will be appreciated. Also, if you would like to share who you host your online proofing with, I would be interested in that as well.

i do online proofing via photoreflect.

i do my order fulfillment through them as well.

We are currently using pictology for online proofing - however, we have found that paper proofs are bringing in more referrals. When the clients gets their proofs back - they carry them around and show people that wont see their online gallery. We mark our proofs with our studio name, so that its a little ad for us to (rather than watermarking PROOF over someone's face). So far, so good with the paper proofs. Not as much happiness about the digital proofs. We have tried DVDs, slideshows, and online gallery - doesnt seem to have the same impact as paper.
