Anyone want to mke an comments on studio managers?

Please respond if you have one or are one.

Please include a rundown of your day and the things required of you.

I have had an offer to be a studio manager and am wanting to do my research first.

i know the break down of what it takes to do your job, i assume that would be the run down, but i've been in the bussiness for 5 years now doing the studio photography and other assigned tasks... and if i were offered the job i would take it realizing that this job would lead to a better one.

but some common sense advice would be to know every one's job below yours.
how to do it better and faster then they do.

p.s. i was looking at your portfolio, and if your going to do studio work, and produce i'd have all the confidence to direct. besides if they think you can do the job, why not ;)

I was one for 4 years. It depends on what kind of studio it is. Corporate or privately-owned? If corporate, is it the kind behind a tire department? *barf*
