Wink Accepting applications for new Position - 11-15-2006, 02:27 PM

I am now accepting applications for a new position I have open. I am searching for a talented and easy to get along with profressional Mentor! I do not want to run my own business, done that and just do not want to again, and I am really interested in becoming a profressional assistant/second shooter. So I am now accepting applications for the position of a profressional Mentor. I am located between Dallas and Texarkana and would be willing to travel to either. If anyone would be interested, please contact me and let me know, thanks.

So, since you are accepting applications, does that mean you are paying?? LOL! I would love to have a second shooter that pays me!

Me too!

...but unfortunately I'm not experienced enough to mentor anyone.

LOL! I was kidding anyway. I would never have someone pay me just to hang out and see how i shoot and such, unless its a workshop or something.

I think a mentor thing is a good idea so those of us who need it can learn as a second shooter.

I am currently accepting applications for me to test Canon long prime lenses. Please contact me for application form and what lens you'd like me to test.

I'll be happy to test the F-mounts.

In all seriousness, a mentor program sounds great. I could use one in another 12-18 months or so.

Thank you, that is all.

Informal get-to-gathers with anyone who could mentor, demonstrate, show & tell would be great. For example, it would be good to get someone who really knows his or hers stuff about meters to give a informal "this is how I do it" demo. Demo then cocktails. The mentor gets free drinks. Heck of a deal.

I agree!! There is so much that I get frustrated with and I feel like I have TONS of questions, but a lot of the time, I dont know what those questions are or how to ask or even what it is I dont understand.

Does that make sense?
