I got inspired to make better biz cards...

The company name will be in SILVER FOIL.

I'm looking for general likes dislikes - would you pick it up? Would it catch your eye?

I was going to print BOTH colors.

Thanks!

I hate to be negative. Really I do, but I have always been of the opinion that silver or gold foil on business cards was both tacky and a waste of cash.

But I do like the hot pink. That IS eyecatching. But silver on hot pink? I dun'no. I'd have to see it. Could be good. Could be not.

Again, sorry.

Prophet out.

Just a note:

The pink card will have my name - the black card is mike's.

And I'm open to skipping the foil. If that's the deal breaker, let me know.

Our clients are split b/t being super formal and super funky. Those are 2 groups that don't usually hang together. I need a card that speaks to both.

Black is elegant. Hot pink is funky.

I like it!

The silver foil won't show up well on the Pink.
This can be good in some situations, but here I think you'd want the name to really pop.

Also, use less letter spacing in NEW YORK, than you do in ABILENE so the two sides are weighted more evenly. You'll probably want to split the difference so the difference in spacing is not too obvious.

Thanks for the help! I ordered mine with the balck text - THANK YOU ROBIN! And rather than foil - I had them use a metallic finish over the whole thing. Its supposed to have a rich luster - heres to hoping they dont look as bad as the last batch!!!
