Graphistudio...do they have templates? - 12-08-2006, 06:39 PM

I could have sworn i read they have templates that you download, similar to Asuka but I've searched their site and come up empty. I need to make my sample book and get it in before the deadline. Anyone know?

No, they don't. Use your favorite design software. They do have the specifications for the page layouts (bleed, safe zone, etc.) on their site.

Thanks Daniel - I thought maybe there were 'fill in the blank' prefab templates. Heres to hoping!

i normally use photoshop to do this, but maybe I"m making this alot harder than it really is.
I see the instructions for the bleed, safe zones, etc but not the exact dimensions for each book size......

Login to their site and look for their print & bind instructions. This tells you what you need. For example, the 9.5x13 had a "base inches" of 20, height is 13.66. Trim is .20, Edge is .6. It has diagrams the explain what each of these means with pictures.

If you can't find it, PM me your e-mail address and I'll send it to you.

K....I see that but one question:

Where does base inch of 20 come into play for a 9.5x13 book? That seems like alot of extra space and I"m not sure how the math adds up

Correct me if I'm wring, but 20" would be the horizontal for a full two page spread.
