My biggest print sale to date! - 12-13-2006, 03:43 PM

As in literal size, that is.

One of my corporate clients (they refurbish cell phones) is putting a 270 degree panorama I did for them up in their lobby. It will be in four panels, and the total size will be 30 inches high by 10 feet wide.

Not the world's sexiest photo, but it pays the bills. They ordered a bunch of other poster shots, but this one will have quite an effect when you walk in their door. I was about 30 feet up on a scissor lift when I took it.

Probably won't see it in the Museo D'orse any time soon, but as you say, it pays the bills.
What a hoot to see your photo ten feet wide.
I know the first Billboard I saw with my photo on it was a real thrill.

Thanks. I used the 24-70. It was stitched via autostitch from 5 frames.

It loses a lot at web resolution, as you might imagine.

congrats most definitely, but doesn't the perspective correction tool work on a large stitched image like that?

Thanks. It might--never tried it on something like this. Might be a bit tricky when there are several different perspectives in the same image. I'm sure you could warp it a bit here and there.

However, I sent him the image as it stood as a draft, and he loved it. Call me lazy, but I'm not getting paid by the hour, and if he's happy, I'm happy. Given my present workload this time of year, I don't have as much time to experiment as I'd like.
