Film processing & scanning - 12-28-2006, 11:02 PM

Has anybody used Holland Photo Imaging in Austin for film processing (C41) and EasyScans?

I have an event that needs to be put on Mpix for print fullfillment, but Mpix developing & scanning don't have the best reputation (unlike their printing). My thought is to send the rolls to Holland, get the scans at large resolution 2048x3072, then edit and upload to Mpix. The group can then order up to 8x10 prints.

I've seen lots of comments about Holland's printing, but nothing on the forum about their scanning. This would be the machine EasyScans, not the much more expensive custom scanning on the Imacon.
