Miller's Pricing Gives Me a Headache - 01-15-2007, 05:13 PM

So I got my Miller's welcome packet today... how on earth does anyone make heads or tails of this price list? It seems like it took forever just to find how much a plain ol' 8x10 would cost.... and then that price looks like more than mpix.... wtf? Sure, Miller's ships for free... but it looks strange.

And then start to put an order together there... I got all the way to the "Submit Order" button .. after choosing all the options for the prints.. sizes, crops, finishes, etc.... and NO WHERE on the page where it wants me to submit the order is a price listed.... WTF? Is it too much to ask to show me a price before I hit "Submit Order?"

Am I just missing something?

You have the price list - why do you need it to show it to you?

Download their ROES app...

I've been using them for well over a year and never had any problems - with them or their price list. Top notch. Upload tonight, at my door on Wednesday morning. Never misses. Bad print (happened once - they didn't trip 10x15 prints), called them, they sent the ENTIRE order and it was at my doorstep the next morning.

There are others out there if you don't like them.

Yeah Brad, I hear ya. I got invited a while back also, but after trying to make sense of their stuff I just blew it off. WHCC is much easier and as you said, even their consumer side, Mpix, is easier and the prices are about the same.

Maybe I'll look again but the initial impression was not a good one for me....

Pete - glad to hear you mention WHCC. Just signed up with them today. Can't wait to get my 5 test prints; hopefully they're as good as MPIX.

I recently did a large b&w on their velvet art paper...beautiful!

I have been happy with both Mpix and WHCC. I have been using both and haven't had any quality issues.

Because my budget can be very tight sometimes... and I like to make sure I'm not spending too much money.

And oh, thank GOD for ROES... that's WAY easier.
