Anyone ever provide financing for their customers?

I was thinking after reading some posts on other forums that a lot of people lose business because the bride/groom want to skimp on the photography budget and use a less expensive photographer or family member.

Has anyone ever offered financing for their clients through some type of fiance company like GE Capital or a bank? It seems this would do 2 things.

1. Help the customer fit the photographer they really want into their budget

2. The photographer would get paid immediatly for there work.

I guess a Visa/Mastercard would be kind of them same but thought there might be other ways of financing such a transaction.

We offer financing for purchases over a set amount. We accept credit cards and basically bill in installments set in the contract. Most of our customers still pay by check - even with this option.

Sure, Visa/MasterCard/etc. - and they can pay those guys in installments.
