I'm selling some prints to someone that is ordering them from North Carolina. Do I still add tax to them?

Not usually, no... but IANACPA.. only the state tax office can give you the "right" answer.

Where did you do the photo shoot? Also, did the people purchasing the prints have them done at, say your studio or location in Texas?

If the people in the photos were shot in Texas, then those prints are taxable. If the people purchasing the prints are unrelated to the photos, for example, purchasing a fine art print of yours, from out of the state of Texas, then you do not have to collect sales tax.

If that doesn't answer your question, post more details surrounding the sale and I will try and address them.
