Well, I'll tell ya what I've done....I followed the Ellie Vayo model: using juniors and seniors from the high school in question as representatives of my work. I bring them in and shoot a "mini-session" and from it get a shot that I use for a wallet-sized image transformed into a business card that they give out to their friends. Every one that is returned back to me from a potential client yields something free for the senior rep (wallets, an 8x10, etc.) I've had seniors reduce a $300-$400 order down to almost nothing because of the business they've referred to me.

There are several good books on the subject by Jeff Smith and Ellie Vayo...google them or you can find their books on Amazon.com. Here are two links to their sites:

Good luck..hope this helps!

Good advice...

and while repeating your message over and over may be a good advertising strategy... doing it on the forum is usually frowned upon.

What information did you put on the card/wallets (any pricing)?
