I just got my first order back from Bay Photo. I am VERY happy with these guys. I have been using Mpix for a few years and have been pleased with them until recently. For the last few months, the colors have been way off on every order from them. I decided to send the same photo to several different companies, including Mpix, and Bay Photo was right on, esp. with color and with their customer service. Just thought I would throw that out there. | | | | | Sponsored Links | Premium Members do not see Google advertisements. SIGN UP today and help support our community.

Albums Unlimited uses Bay Photo for their flush mount album prints. I've been very happy with them.

I think you'll be OK, they have a thin candy shell. I'm surprised you didn't know that. www.silverstreetphoto.com

Hey there Chris, wished I would have know you were going to send to Bay Photo. If you use my name they will give you half off your first order. Heck, call out there and ask for Sara and tell her you spoke to me and maybe she will honor it on your next order.

I will say that while I was happy with their service, their packing material is dangerous. I was barefoot in the living room while unpacking the box and as i got up, accidentally ran my toe against the cardboard......OUCH!!!

Looking at their website I think I may have to give them a try.
But the $64million question... What is the maximum size they ship flat?

I ordered an 11x17 from Bay and they shipped it flat in a box large enough to have held a 20x24. I switched from Mpix to Bay Photo on Raymond's recommendation and have been very happy with the results.

Thats great to hear. After looking at their website and the ROES ordering system I'm excited about them.
1. They can do glossy
2. They ship flat
3. Ability to set the crop area
4. Ability to send your files via CD (I'm on Hughesnet Satellite so this is a plus my upload speeds are not that fast.)
5. The price of an 11x14 is only $3.99 (a big plus. MPix is $6.99 and the type of portrait biz I am getting into will deal a lot with 11x14s.)
6. Templates to order 8x10 sheets. IE 1 5x7 and 4 wallets or 8 wallets.. etc
They seem to meet all the criteria I was looking for.
Edited to fix my bad spelling. Or at least some of it.

Hearing all this good press (and repeatedly hearing Raymond's glowing reviews on them), I think I'll start using them as my lab of choice on my fine art and individual orders.
