Tips for a Website to sell images

Any help would be great. Type of website, flash, html, etc... Or would a template website be the best. I do not know anything about building a website.

Find a good free or inexpensive template. However, if you want to SELL images on your site, I would recommend using Exposure Manager, PhotoReflect, or one of those sites. There's like a dozen (or two or three) threads on here about sites like that...just do a search of Exposure Manager and start reading the commentary.

places like EM, SMugmug, etc, can also allow for HTML editing so the images you host and sell on their site from your gallery can be made to look like your website which is what some people use....

I currently use ifp3.com which is a really simple to get started web template. Runs about $20-30 month.

I am looking to switch and am currently doing my own evaluation.

I am looking at the smugmug pro level site and also pbase.

By buying a web template my son tells me there are issues of web server, security etc.... a little over my head......
