Hi Mike!

We have done that. Once you do a couple, you'll figure out who to talk to and what kind of stuff to present to them.

We offered this to the location where the image was shot in a nice matted frame for them. They gushed. It quickly circulated b/t volunteers, employees, and curators.

The main thing that we have found - the difference b/t businesses gushing, and a business not wanting to be bothered with it, has to do with whether or not THEIR name is prominent on it.

Still put your name on it, but their name with central placement, also gets you very nice word of mouth advertising. So far our word of mouth referrals to bookings is 100% and typically include the exactly type of client we love working with. Its a win win situation.

This was a bridal, but we have done that for the vendors we work with at weddings. We do the same thing, but their item is prominent (eg bouquet). The vendors typically get an Art Leather folio to show off their work. That works well too.

Good luck!

Wow, What a nostalgia rush! I remember Saturday mornings at "The Paramount". Usually a "Spaghetti Western" with three or four cartoons. Then later there was sitting in the balcony with my sweetie and........ Do they still have the moving clouds projected on the ceiling? That was so cool in the 60's.

What a coincidence! I was JUST thinking about this last night! I was at the Cruiz In Cafe and they have alot of photos of old cars hung around the resteraunt. None of them are too great...and I thought to myself. I should take a couple of shots of some nice classic cars and bring them in framed. Now I KNOW I will! :-)

Yes, they do. I LOVE this place. Its very nostalgic. Mike and I saw THE LONG TRAILER there when we were dating and a bunch of old Audrey Hepburn movies. The ceiling has those little twinkle stars too. I should see if I could get those to photograph. That would be cool.
