or Yet Another Business Card Thread

I'm leaving enough blank space on the back so you can at least jot a short note. Perhaps even lower the contrast such that the logo is almost transparent?

Opinions?

Hey Scott--
The back of the card looks great, but I'm not digging the embossed (??) font on the front of the card. Have you played with any other fonts?

The base font is my 'standard' Gill Condensed from Adobe. The 'style' is added in Photoshop. It really looks better in the full size 300 dpi version. I crunched this for web display. It's beveled, embossed, and satin finished. It works well with Sarah's eyes IMHO. Do you think something flat would look better?

Yes, kill the emboss effect on the text. Gill Sans is a great typeface, I'd make it white or maybe match the almost gray of the models eyes if that's what you were going for.

If you start to have legibility issues with the text, consider a darker gray to almost black gradient from the right edge under the text.

On both sides you should bring the text in at least 1/8 of an inch from the edge, I usually leave 3/16. Especially the horse's nose - looks like it's just about to get trimmed off...

Scott,

I think it totally rocks! Maybe the letters on the back could use a little more "depth"... but that's just me being picky.

Why not use another image on the back?

Scott,

I actually like your current card better. This one isn't bad by any means..I just like your current design better.

Ditto on the font. Not an embossed font kinda guy myself.
